Anticipation of Primal Origins

In anticipation of the release of Primal Origins, I thought I would make a post about the cards I'm looking forward to. The card I'm looking forward to the most is Pirika, Lineage of Gusto.

Pirika's effect reads, "When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can target 1 WIND Tuner monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target in face-up Defense Position. Its effects are negated. If you activate this effect, you cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn, except WIND monsters. You can only use the effect of "Pirika, Lineage of Gusto" once per turn."
This card allows a bit more consistency with Gustos, as it allows you to get any of your Gusto Tuners on to the field. You can bring out Gulldo and go for a level 6 like Sphreeze. You can go for Falco or Squirro and go for a level 5 like Gulldos. You could also go for Egul and go for a level 4 like Falcos. The possibilities that come with this card are enormous, as you don't even have to run it with Gustos. This would work well in almost any Psychic deck as most of the Psychic Tuners are WIND.

Next card I can't wait to get is Forbidden Tome. The main reason I can't wait for Forbidden Tome is how anit-Bujin/Blackwing it is.

Forbidden Tome reads,"During damage calculation, if a monster you control battles an opponent's monster: Until the end of the Damage Step, the effects of all other cards currently on the field are negated, also this damage calculation is performed using the original ATK and DEF of the battling monsters."
This card pretty much stops Bujingi Crane and Kalut the Moonshadow in their tracks. Yamato will no longer be able to run over your stronger monsters and Blackwings won't be able to get their extra boost.

The last cards I'm looking forward to are the Artifacts.

The Artifact archtype is one that I am looking forward to playing. The Artifacts all have similar effects. All of them can be set in your Spell/Trap Zones. When they are destroyed by a card effect during your opponents turn, they can be Special Summoned which triggers another effect. Artifact Beagalltach allows you to destroy 2 Set cards your opponent controls. The rest of the Artifact monsters, excluding Durandal, all have similar effects when they are Special Summoned on your opponents turn. Another cool thing about the Artifacts is that they are all B.A. weapons, most from ancient times, but a few coming from a myth.

There are many more cards being released in Primal Origins that I'm anticipating, but these are currently my favorites. Hope you all enjoyed this post and also, leave a comment on what card/cards you're anticipating in the release on Primal Origins.
